Major restoration works to a historic home in Christchurch which was severely damaged in the Canterbury Earthquakes. The home is of historical importance to both Canterbury and New Zealand as was the family home until the 1970’s of the Upham Family and the home where Capt. Charles Upham (VC and Bar) was raised in.
Along with replication reconstruction of some major external areas today windows, entry and chimney stacks, a new ring foundation was installed to replace the badly damaged existing system.
EcoWorkshop worked closely with the current owners and contractors to restore the home to its former glory.
